KKPIT Drops the KSC10E V1.1 Conversion Kit for the KONE Chassis

KKPIT has officially released the KSC10E V1.1 Conversion Kit, a 21-piece update built to take the KONE SP platform to the next level. It's a full rethink of the chassis around three things: less weight, sharper roll-center geometry, and a stiffer overall structure.

This isn't a kit built on guesswork — it was proven on track at the National RC Championship in China, where the updated platform held up under race-day conditions before ever reaching customers.

Headlining the update are several all-new parts for 2026, including the TKR Competition Center Link Brace, TKR aluminum spindle carriers, a forward CG battery mount, a competition diff cover, and a set of lightweight bumpers front and rear. Round that out with a carbon fiber topdeck, an adjustable-length servo saver, and a full hardware refresh, and the KSC10E V1.1 touches nearly every corner of the car.

The result is a chassis tuned specifically for 2S short course competition — lighter up front, more planted through corners, and stiff enough to hold its line through hard landings. Full parts breakdown and availability details coming to the shop soon.

TQ & 2nd for Galicha at the Vintage Carpet Series Final Leg

Team KKPIT Racing PH driver Matthew Galicha put in a statement performance at the Final Leg of the Vintage Carpet Series at AE Raceway, qualifying quickest of the day for top qualifier honors before backing it up with a 2nd place finish in the main.

Galicha had the pace to go all the way — TQ runs showed it — but a wheel issue mid-main cost him precious seconds he couldn't quite claw back, settling for the runner-up spot instead of the win. Still a strong result to close out the series.

Fellow TKR PH driver Brien Navalta also had a solid showing, rounding out the day with a 4th place finish overall.

Congrats to the whole Team KKPIT Racing PH crew on the results — see you at the next one.

Cyclone Effect Takes the Short Course

We brought our KONE SCT out for a weekend at the track running the "Cyclone Effect" livery — magenta, cyan, and volt yellow over the KBT short course chassis, riding on a fresh set of 51006 Destroyer Stellarun tires.

The car spent the day on jump sections and berm-heavy layouts that punished suspension geometry, and the KBT chassis held its line through the rough stuff without much drama. A couple of setup tweaks between runs — mainly ride height and sway bar preload — got the balance where we wanted it by the afternoon session.

If you're running the same SCT body kit or a KBT-chassis build, our shop has the full parts breakdown in stock — driveshafts, shock towers, suspension arms, and the rest of what keeps a short course truck together after a hard weekend of bashing.
